Road Transfers
Our transfer vehicle leaves the Maun at 3pm. We can pick you up from the airport, your place of accommodation or The Akacia Cafe near Maun Airport. If you need a safe place to leave your car while you are with us this can be arranged. In such cases it is best to meet at 2:30pm. If you are wanting to drive yourself out as you are continuing to Moremi, or simply prefer to drive yourself then we will meet you at Akacia Cafe at 3pm. A 4×4 vehicle is essential, water crossings can sometimes be as deep as 1.2m.
Depending on water levels the drive can take between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 45 minutes.
The return transfer to Maun departs camp at around 9am.

Helicopter Transfers
If you feel like spoiling yourself a little, a helicopter flight with “Helicopter Horizons” is a wonderful way to get from Maun to Lazy River.
For US$200.00 per person one way you can get to Lazy River swiftly while enjoying a fish eagles view.
